Hello All

As holders of many of the section trophies for these two events we would like to enter a full set of teams this year.

Contact your section leader for actual arrangements for each day. You don’t need to stay unless you want to. Those that do find it great fun.

Tug of war

Sunday 14th May at Ernesettle

31st Plymouth will be holding their annual Tug of War competition. This is a fantastic day open to all sections from across the district and is a fantastic family day out for all the family!

10.00am (for 10.30 registration) 11.00 start. Finish approx., 16.30

This competition is open to teams of Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. NO FOOTBALL BOOTS OR HIKING BOOTS TO BE WORN – NO GLOVES There are refreshments available and Tuck Shop

Venue:  31st Plymouth Scout H.Q. off Rochford Cres.

It’s a knockout

Sunday 11th June at Keyham

1st Keyham are holding their annual “It’s a Knockout” competition. This again is open to all sections from across the district and will take place on the green outside the Scout hut on Knowle Ave.

Parking will be available in a local car park (details to follow).

The set up sort of follows the old TV game show. Teams are 4 – 7 in size and will take part in 12 games throughout the day, these games will be a mixture of 2 & 4 player events, with 3 teams playing against each other at the same time, so 3 points for 1st, 2 for 2nd & 1 for 3rd. Each team will also have a joker to play to earn themselves double points for that round.

Teams must be registered by 9:40 for 10am start. Finish 4:30 ish. Lunch after game 6 for 30min. There will be food on sale as well as a tuck shop, another good day for family’s to attend and support.
